Details of surgical strikes done during UPA regime released
Full-disclosure: This is our attempt at spoof. Congress spokesperson Mr. Jha has claimed that many strikes against Pakistan were carried out during UPA rule and that Congress would release the evidence, if needed. He revealed these strikes were carried out in different World-Cups in 1992, 1996, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2012 and 2014. He added Congress has evidence in both normal and HD formats.
Pakistan isolated by other nations during UPA
In 2003, India beat Pakistan to reach the World Cup final. Surprisingly, this was done when the Pakistanis were in South Africa; and India not only beat Pakistan but also crushed its chances of becoming a world dominating super power. In 1984 Asia cup meet, Pakistan faced heavy defeats and was isolated by both Asian majors India and Sri Lanka in separate encounters.
The first few strikes under UPA
The first strike happened on March 4th, 1992. India under the captaincy of Mohammad Azharuddin attacked Pakistan and defeated it comprehensively. Slow response from Pakistan meant the attack was reduced to 49 overs. On 30 Mar 2011 India beat Pakistan for the second time under UPA. India's most powerful weapon, Sachin caused maximum casualties when he sent 11 shells across the line of control.
The most devastating strike
In 2007, India did a surgical strike on Pakistan which lasted for almost four hours and resulted in India becoming the world champion. There was equal retaliation from Pakistan and at one point it seemed that India's effort would go down the drain when, in a surprising turn of events, India's weakest soldier Joginder Sharma got the better of Pakistan's Chief of Army Misbah-ul-Haq.
The erstwhile CM of Gujarat, Narendra Modi's words
After India's victory against Pakistan in 2003, CM of Gujarat appreciated the efforts of UPA govt and tweeted "India has won! भारत की विजय। अच्छे दिन आने वाले हैं।".This tweet is India's most shared tweet ever.
