Yamuna-Expressway: Three AIIMS doctors on birthday trip died in accident
Three AIIMS doctors were killed and three others critically injured, along with the driver, when their car rammed into a mini-truck on the Yamuna Expressway near Mathura this morning. They were reportedly travelling to celebrate the birthday of a friend, who's among the dead. The collision presumably happened at high speed; a mangled door of the car came off its hinges.
Part of the car reportedly entered the mini-truck from behind
The group was travelling from Delhi to Agra in an Innova. At 2:30am, they tried to overtake an Eicher mini-truck in the Surir Kotwali police station area. But the driver lost control and ran into the truck from behind. A part of the car entered the truck. Dr. Yashpal, Dr. Harshad and Dr. Hembala died on the spot. It was reportedly Dr. Harshad's birthday.
