Maharashtra: Sena leader's car allegedly kills two teenage girls
A speeding car belonging to a Shiv Sena leader allegedly mowed down two young girls this morning in Maharashtra's Baramati. It is not yet clear if Pappu Mane, the owner, was driving the car himself. But he reportedly fled from the scene after the incident and is absconding. Afterwards, angry locals set ablaze the SUV. Police have registered a case of hit and run.

What happened?
According to reports, the mishap happened at 7:40am. Three girls were talking down the Baramati-Morgaon Road when the car hit them. Two of them aged 12 and 13 died on the spot. Instead of helping, Mane reportedly ran away with his accomplices. Two others are believed to have been in the car with him. Police are now on the lookout for the Sena leader.
