Senior journalist Sunil Sharma passes away at 49
Senior journalist Sunil Sharma (49) on Monday succumbed to a heart attack. He was working as the Bureau Chief of Hindi daily "Divya Himachal". He is survived by his wife and daughter. The body was taken to the journalist's native place at Bilaspur, where he would be cremated tomorrow. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda conveyed his condolences to bereaved family members.
Governor, CM mourns demise of Sunil Sharma
Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur also mourned the demise of Sharma. He said Sharma was a committed journalist who always maintained the ethics of journalism. The Chief Minister said Governor Acharya Devvrat also expressed shock over the untimely death of the journalist. Former Chief Ministers Shanta and Prem Kumar Dhumal and other senior leaders also mourned the death of the media personality.
