Discovery India employees face threats of violence
The plea stated that on January 30, a mob tried to barge into Discovery's office, resulting in a law and order situation. Following this, the company was forced to make work-from-home mandatory for employees' safety.
The plea highlighted these threats have created a "house arrest situation," infringing employees' rights to life and liberty.
Hate comments on social media have only made the situation worse, the plea added.
