Sacked employee fires at Japanese company's HR head in Gurugram
Infuriated at being terminated, a sacked employee along with an accomplice on a bike today opened fire and injured a Gurugram-based Japanese company's human resource wing head, police said. The incident occurred at around 9 am when the victim, Binesh Sharma, HR head of Mitsubishi, was going to his office in IMT, Manesar, in a car. Sharma suffered two gunshot injuries, police said.

Two persons on a bike tried to intercept Binesh Sharma's car on gun-point. When he didn't stop but accelerated instead, the pillion rider opened fire aiming to kill Sharma, Gurugram Police PRO Ravinder Kumar said. "The attackers, one of whom was later identified as Joginder, managed to escape from the spot. Sharma was admitted to Rockland Hospital and said to be out of danger.
HR head sacked accused over unprofessional behavior
On Wednesday, Sharma had sacked Joginder, over his alleged "unprofessional behavior", officials said. Joginder later threatened Sharma of dire consequences but the HR head did not take his warning seriously, the officer added. We have registered a case under relevant sections against Joginder and his accomplice. An investigation is underway; raids are being conducted at all possible hideouts of the attackers, the PRO said.
