Ludhiana: RSS leader Ravinder Gosai shot dead
Ludhiana RSS leader Ravinder Gosai, office bearer of the district BJP, was shot dead this morning by unidentified assailants. Gosai was walking his dog in Kailash Nagar while returning home from the RSS Shakha when the gunmen shot two bullets into his neck and back. He died on the spot. Gosai was the head of the Raghunath Nagar Mohan Shakha.
'Targeted killing' of RSS leaders?
In a similar attack last year in February, unidentified assailants had shot at RSS leader Naresh Kumar in Shahidi park of Kidwayi Nagar. However, Kumar escaped unhurt. "TARGETED KILLING IN PUNJAB:RSS leader shot dead in Ludhiana;5th killing of right-wing activists in 3 yrs. All cases still mystery," Hindustan Times senior editor Ramesh Vinayak tweeted. Police have launched an investigation into Gosai's murder.
