Conspiracy
Pragati and Anurag's plan to kill Dilip
The investigation found that since Pragati's marriage, she and her lover Anurag couldn't meet, so they planned the murder of Dilip. They allegedly hired a hitman named Ramaji Chaudhary for the job.
Police reports say they paid him ₹2 lakh.
On March 19, Ramaji, along with others, reportedly took Dilip on a bike to the fields, where they assaulted him and shot him.

The three suspects were later identified through CCTV footage and arrested.
Authorities also seized two pistols, four live cartridges, a bike, two mobile phones, a purse with an Aadhar card, and ₹3,000 from the accused.
The case gathers traction in the wake of a woman stabbing her husband to death with the help of her boyfriend, who is also the deceased's friend, in Meerut.
After the murder, the two dismembered the body and hid the parts in a cement-filled drum.
