    What's the story

In a shocking incident from Sarwadi village in Rajasthan's Barmer district, a woman was reportedly subjected to public humiliation due to her alleged involvement with a married man.

The police disclosed the event on Sunday.

A video of the disturbing episode, which shows a woman dragging the victim, who is half naked, by the hair while she pleads, has gone viral on social media.

According to police, the married man's wife and relatives discovered his relationship with the woman, leading to this public display of humiliation.

Barmer's Superintendent of Police, Kundan Kawaria, confirmed that a case has been registered at the Samdari Police Station.

"The woman was suddenly attacked by the group- all her neighbors- on the road when she was going somewhere on Friday. Later, they assaulted her and then also paraded her naked across the village," said Kawaria.
