Rajasthan Digifest job fair sees good participation; 2,500 receive offers
As many as 2,500 job-seekers have received employment offers, while 5,500 candidates have been shortlisted for further evaluation at a job fair organized in Jaipur by the Rajasthan government, a senior official said on Wednesday. Spread over two days (March 19-20), the event was part of the Rajasthan Digifest 2018, organized by the state government's IT and Communications department. Here's more.

"More than 6,500 job opportunities were offered by over 150 companies, out of which more than 2,500 youths have been given job offer letters," said Akhil Arora, Principal Secretary at the Department of Information and Technology and Communications.
Shortlisted candidates to be evaluated within seven days
Over 5,500 job-seekers have been shortlisted, who will be evaluated within seven days, Arora added. Companies from across various sectors such as information technology, banking, retail, manufacturing, and pharma participated in the job fair. Top employers included Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Genpact, Vodafone, Axis Bank, and AU Small Finance Bank. The organizers of the job fair had around 27,000 participants.
