Rajasthan: Congress-worker forced to apologize by rubbing nose on ground
Four men, who had forced a Congress worker to rub his nose on the ground after his vehicle splashed mud on them, were made to apologize after villagers intervened in Rajasthan's Dungarpur district. Former Zila Pramukh, Bhagwati Lal Roat, was going to attend Congress state President Sachin Pilot's rally on Tuesday when his vehicle splashed mud on a few men in Jhosawa village.
Accused chased Roat's car, stopped him, forced him to apologize
The angry men chased Roat's car and stopped him at a bus stand. Roat was purportedly forced to rub his nose on the ground and apologize to the youngsters. Thereafter, seniors members of the Patidar community called the four men and Roat yesterday to Bhaimai village in the district where the men were asked to apologize to the Congress worker in the same manner.
'Had BJP made good roads, I wouldn't have been insulted'
"They misbehaved with Roat following which senior members of their community made them apologize to him," Dinesh Kumar, President, Dungarpur district Congress said. No complaint, however, was filed in this case. Meanwhile, Roat said, "Had the BJP made good roads, I wouldn't have been insulted."
