Apprentices' training program to consist of basic training, on-the-job lessons
The apprentices' training program consists of basic training and on-the-job training. Basic training is an essential component for those who have not undergone any institutional training or skill, before taking up on-the-job lessons, the Railways said. Basic training accounts for 20-30% of the overall duration of the program. Training would take place at 16 zonal and seven production units.
