Enforcement Directorate raids Robert Vadra's offices in Delhi
The offices of former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law, Robert Vadra, were today raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at multiple locations in Delhi. ED also conducted raids at some locations linked to him in Bengaluru, say reports. Interestingly, the raids commenced as the polling in Rajasthan and Telangana came to end in the final phase of the five-state assembly elections. Here's more.

ED raids Vadra's offices after issuing summons in money-laundering case
The raids by ED come after the agency on Thursday issued a third summons to Robert Vadra asking him to appear for questioning before the investigating officer in relation to the Bikaner land deal money laundering case. Vadra's Sky Light Hospitality is being probed by the ED for "fraudulently" acquiring land meant for rehabilitation of the poor in Bikaner.
Vadra calls repeated summonses by ED a 'political witch-hunt'
Vadra had not responded to the previous two summonses issued to him by the ED in the Bikaner case. He also said the summonses were a "political witch-hunt" and also alleged that the investigating agencies had an "agenda" to damage his reputation.
ED filed case against Sky Light Hospitality under PMLA
Cases against Robert Vadra's Sky Light Hospitality and other companies were filed by the Rajasthan Police in August 2014 after the BJP-led NDA government came to power. Later in September 2015, the Enforcement Directorate had registered a case against Sky Light Hospitality and others under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) based on the Rajasthan Police's FIRs and charge sheets.
