RaGa meets Twitter-CEO to discuss ways to tackle fake news
Amid the alarming rise of fake news on social media, Congress President Rahul Gandhi met Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey today, where the website co-founder apparently explained to him the steps being taken to tackle fake news. Gandhi, taking to Twitter, said Dorsey "dropped in" to chat today morning. He also put out his pictures with the Twitter chief on the microblogging site. Here's more.

False-news 70% more likely to be retweeted than true ones
A recent study by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States has reported that false news is 70% more likely to be retweeted on Twitter than the true ones. And sadly, it takes true stories around six times as long to reach 1,500 people, as it takes for false stories to reach the same number of people, the report said.
