Video: Maharashtra cop saves woman hit by train
In a heroic act, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) officer saved a woman who was hit by a train while attempting to cross the railway tracks at Jalgaon station in Maharashtra. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, was captured on the station's CCTV cameras. The footage shows the officer, identified as Chango Patil, rushing toward the woman as she tried to climb onto the platform with an incoming train approaching.
Woman gets trapped between coach and platform
The CCTV footage reveals that Patil's initial attempt to pull the woman onto the platform was unsuccessful. The train then hit her and dragged her for some meters. Despite this, Patil did not give up and quickly ran toward her again to rescue her from further harm. Following the dramatic rescue, other RPF personnel and passengers on the platform quickly gathered to assist. The woman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
