Ready to contest elections if Congress wants: Priyanka Gandhi
What's the story
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said she is ready to contest the General Election but only if her "party wanted".
She, however, said that no decision on whether she would contest the national election or not has been taken yet.
This comes only weeks ahead of the Lok Sabha elections scheduled to be conducted from 11 April.

Here's what Priyanka Gandhi said when asked about contesting polls
When asked whether she would contest the polls, Priyanka Gandhi said, "Why not? Even you can," responding to a reporter.
She added, "If the Congress asks me to contest polls then I will definitely do so."
ANI quoted her as saying, "I've not decided yet; If my party asks me to contest, I will definitely contest. My wish is to work for the party."

Counter-attack
Priyanka Gandhi attacks UP CM Adityanath over his remarks
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath earlier targeted Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka, saying that they visit temples only at the time of elections.
Responding to Adityanath's comments, Priyanka Gandhi asked, "How does he know where I go and when? How does he know I don't go during non-election time?" She is in charge of reviving the Congress party in UP.

Congress's NYAY
BJP, BSP chief Mayawati slammed for Congress's NYAY scheme
Priyanka Gandhi also attacked the BJP and BSP chief Mayawati for questioning the Congress party's NYAY Minimum Income Guarantee Scheme, promising Rs. 72,000 a year for the poor, announced earlier by Rahul Gandhi.
"The Congress doesn't bluff, the Congress does what it promises. Those who bluff make such accusations," said Priyanka, who is on a visit to her brother's constituency, Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
