PM Modi's message to civil services aspirants after UPSC results
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated the shortlisted candidates of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2023. PM Modi also addressed those who didn't achieve their goals in this examination. "I want to tell those who didn't achieve the desired success in the Civil Service Examination - setbacks can be tough, but remember, this isn't the end of your journey," he wrote. Wishing them best of luck, he asked the aspirants to keep striving and exploring the vast possibilities ahead.
Top achievers of UPSC 2023 examination announced
This year's top achievers are Aditya Srivastava, followed by Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy securing second and third ranks respectively. Other notable achievers among the top ten include PK Sidharth Ramkumar (4), Ruhani (5), Srishti Dabas (6) Anmol Rathore (7), Ashish Kumar (8), Nausheen (9) and Aishwaryam Prajapati (10).
UPSC 2023 examination: A rigorous selection process
The Civil Services Exam is a rigorous three-stage process — preliminary, main and interview — conducted by the UPSC to select by candidates for various central government services. This year, the UPSC has recommended 1,016 candidates, comprising 664 men and 352 women, for appointments to various services. The final results are available on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
