Jharkhand officials asked to prepare strategy for collecting more revenue
Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has asked officials to prepare a strategy so that more revenue than the fixed targets can be collected. Reviewing the action plan and strategy of the commerce, commodity, transport, registration and land revenue departments during a meeting yesterday, CM Das said, "There should be a strategy for revenue collection, and the areas where problems can appear should be identified."
Officials should study the volume of consumption of the people
The Chief Minister also said that the work of estimating tax projection base should be given to an experienced agency so that the potential revenue from the departments can be determined. CM Das also instructed the officials to study the volume of consumption of the people of a particular area to estimate the flow of revenue from the area.
