15-year-old boy from UP's Firozabad could become youngest IITian
A 15-year-old boy from Firozabad has cleared the IIT-JEE (Advanced). He could become the youngest person to get admitted into IIT. Abhay Agrawal secured AIR 2,467 and has been allotted a seat in mechanical engineering at IIT-BHU. But he has 'floated' the offered seat as he wants to join IIT-Roorkee. His father Mukesh Agarwal is a pump attendant at Firozabad Nagar Nigam.
Abhay's formula: 'Stay away from social media'
The teenager attended coaching classes in his city while preparing. He also stayed away from social media since Class XI. He did well in his Class XII exams too, scoring a high 87.2%. Abhay says he wants to launch a start-up dealing in robotics. He would be the second engineer in the family; his brother is pursuing B.Tech.
