Investigate Vadra, but also investigate PM Modi in #RafaleDeal: RaGa
Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said the government has the right to investigate every person but should not be selective, referring to the investigation against his brother-in-law Robert Vadra. He said PM Narendra Modi should also be investigated in the Rafale deal. The Congress chief, who is in Tamil Nadu capital Chennai, was interacting with the students of Stella Maris College. When asked about the investigation against Vadra, Rahul Gandhi said, "The government has every right to investigate every person. Law must apply to everybody, not be applied selectively." "PM (Modi) has his name in government documents that say he is directly responsible for negotiating parallelly with Dassault on Rafale. Investigate everybody, be it Mr. Vadra or PM (Modi)," he added.
'PM Modi has given Rs. 30,000 crore to Anil Ambani'
"Mr. Narendra Modi, for one minute has not opened his mouth on the Rafale deal. The PM is named in the files. The CBI director is removed at 1:30 at night," Rahul Gandhi said while interacting with the students. "The French President has spoken about this. PM Modi has given Rs. 30,000 crore to Anil Ambani," the Congress chief added.
'Investigate Vadra, I am the first one to say it'
"Investigate Mr Vadra, I am the first one to say it. But investigate the Prime Minister also," Rahul Gandhi said while interacting with the college students, as part of Congress's campaign for the upcoming elections. He would hold a press conference at Chennai's Hotel Le Meridien later in the day and also address a public rally at Scott Christian College ground in Kanyakumari's Nagercoil.

The Congress President also attacked PM Modi, saying, "How many of you have had the opportunity to ask him 'Mr. Prime Minister what do you think about education? What do you think about this? What do you think about that?'" "Why doesn't Prime Minister have the guts to stand in front of 3,000 women and be questioned by them?" Rahul asked.
