
PM Modi hosts Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim at Hyderabad House

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday hosted Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani at Hyderabad House in Delhi.
The visit is the Emir's second state visit to India, after his previous one in March 2015.
The Qatari leader arrived in Delhi on Monday for a two-day state visit on PM Modi's invitation.
Warm reception
PM Modi's airport welcome for Qatari Emir
In a rare gesture of hospitality, PM Modi himself went to the airport to receive the Emir of Qatar.
"Went to the airport to welcome my brother, Amir of Qatar H H Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani. Wishing him a fruitful stay in India and looking forward to our meeting tomorrow," PM Modi said in a post on X.

Qatari Emir's visit to strengthen India-Qatar partnership
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) emphasized that the visit would give "further momentum to our growing multifaceted partnership."
The Qatari Emir was accompanied by a high-level delegation, comprising ministers, senior officials, and business leaders.
On Tuesday, the Emir was given a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan, which was attended by President Droupadi Murmu and PM Modi.
The two leaders' talks were expected to touch upon all aspects of bilateral relations.
