IIM A considered the best management institute among others
In IIM Ahmedabad's placement process for the Class of 2018 of its most coveted "Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management", its students were placed across over 23 cohorts. As many as 125 recruiters participated in the placements with 150 different roles. 386 offers were reportedly made with the highest package being Rs. 69 LPA and an average package of Rs. 22.6 LPA.
Here are the details of IIM Bangalore Placements 2018
IIM Bangalore saw good industry participation during the campus placement process for the 2016-18 PGP batch. As per the official report, the average package (domestic) was Rs. 22.76 LPA, while the average package (overseas) was Rs. 58.20 LPA. As many as 420 students received 462 offers from more than 140 companies, recording 100% placements, the institute said.
IIM Calcutta also recorded 100% placements for PGP batch
For the PGP Batch of 2016-18, IIM Calcutta successfully finished the campus placement process in only two days, recording 100% placements. IIM C said it saw participation from 130 recruiters and 432 PGP students got placed. The institute received a total of 479 offers. The highest annual package received is Rs. 75 LPA CTC while the median salary offer is Rs. 22 LPA.
IIM Lucknow got 454 placement offers for 445 candidates
IIM Lucknow completed PGP 2016-18 batch's placements with 454 offers from 143 recruiters for 445 students. It has not revealed any details about the packages offered. It witnessed a 20% rise in the number of pre-placement offers and 30% increase in the number of Higher Entry Placement Process (HEPP) offers. Top recruiters included Amazon, Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Citi, Deloitte, and PwC among others.
IIM Kozhikode and its placement numbers this session
IIM Kozhikode has also had a successful placement season this year. As many as 178 companies rolled out 359 offers to 382 students for the PGP batch of 2016-18. While the highest international annual package stood at Rs. 52.1 LPA CTC, the highest domestic CTC offer received was Rs. 38.5 LPA. The median CTC this season was Rs. 16L LPA, according to the institute.
Highest package at IIM Indore Rs. 63.45 LPA
IIM Indore concluded placements for the 2016-18 batches of PGP, PP (Mumbai), and IPM on a high note. Over 200 recruiters participated this time. The IIM had the largest batch of students - 624 - across all IIMs. The highest international package was Rs. 63.45 LPA while the highest domestic package stood at Rs. 33.04 LPA. The average CTC was Rs. 18.17 LPA.
