Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, established in 1887, is among the best and oldest engineering colleges in Mumbai. Coming to VJTI's placement numbers, the highest offer in terms of CTC in the college's 2017 placement season is Rs. 24 LPA reportedly by electronic commerce and Internet company, Rakuten. The lowest offer was of Rs. 3 LPA while overall placement percentage (BTech) is 87.15%.
Placements at Mumbai's Sardar Patel Institute of Technology
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, established in 1995, is another popular college affiliated to Mumbai University. It saw as many as 36 companies during its 2017-18 placement season and received over 230 offers from them. The highest salary offer of Rs. 16.5 LPA was received by five students from Morgan Stanley. Infosys made the lowest offer of Rs. 3.2 LPA; it recruited 18 candidates.
Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering placement rates
Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, founded in 1984, is one of the top-ranking engineering colleges in the country. For the 2017-2018 academic year, the college saw 56 recruiters who made as many as 222 offers to its students. The highest offer was of Rs. 16.5 LPA while the lowest was of Rs. 3.5 LPA. The overall percentage of students placed is 84.4%.
KJSCE, one of the top colleges with good placement rates
KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, founded in 1983, is one of the reputed engineering colleges. For the 2017-18 academic year, KJSCE saw as many as over 50 recruiters offering jobs to nearly 500 students. While two students received the highest offer of Rs. 12.72 LPA from Morgan Stanley so far, Accenture emerged as the recruiter with the highest number of offers, selecting 225 candidates.

Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering, founded in 1994, is among India's top 50 engineering colleges. For the 2016-17 session, it saw nearly 110 recruiters and received 543 offers. JP Morgan made the highest offer of Rs. 12.5 LPA, recruiting 26 students. TCS made the highest number of offers - 103 - of Rs. 3.4 LPA. Infosys selected 83 students, offering Rs. 3.3 LPA.
