Petrol bombs hurled at BJP leader's house in Coimbatore
What's the story
Unnamed miscreants attacked BJP leader CR Nandakumar's house in Coimbatore (TN) early this morning, who poured fuel on his car and then hurled projectiles.
The vehicle was partially damaged.
Singanallur police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.
Two weeks before targeting District President Nandakumar, there was a bomb attack on the local BJP office on VKK Menon Road, Siddhapudur.

Details
CCTV cameras captured two men in the premises at 3am
The incident happened around 3am at Nandakumar's house on Masakalipalayam Road, Ramalakshmi Nagar.
His mother woke up when she heard noises and woke him up too.
When he came out, he saw fire outside his house.
He immediately alerted neighbors and police and the fire was put out.
CCTV visuals had captured two men tiptoeing around the area and then hurling two fuel-filled projectiles.

Probe
Five police teams formed to probe incident
In a separate incident today, a petrol bomb was hurled at another house at Selvapuram. A car and a two-wheeler were damaged.
But it is reportedly unrelated to the attack on Nandakumar's house.
Meanwhile, five police teams have been formed to probe the BJP leader's case.
"We have got CCTV visuals" and will trace the assailants soon, said Commissioner K Periaiah.
