WB government had declassified 64 files related to Netaji
On September 18, 2015, the West Bengal government had declassified 64 files related to Netaji. The Modi government had also declassified several files pertaining to Netaji in January 2015. The files, however, did not have any information or new evidence on what happened to him after the plane crash in Taihoku (now in Taiwan) on August 18, 1945.
