Paytm Mall launching the second edition of its Campus Icon program, aiming to hire 5,000 graduates this time. In the six-week program, it will train selected students in a variety of tasks - marketing, technology, sales and more. Top performers will be awarded prizes and offered the chance of working with the company. Last year, it hired 2,200 candidates through the program.
What will the program include?
In these six weeks, Paytm Mall will teach candidates how to build a brand, strategize and plan, and grow a business. They will get the chance to apply their learning in real scenarios. It will also give them the opportunity to build a network of like-minded people. There will be rewards and certificates for deserving ones at every stage. Top performers will be absorbed.
Who can apply? How will candidates be selected?
Anyone pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate course anywhere in India, including those who will take admission by August 5, can apply for the program. The training will be a combination of online and offline programs, so candidates can work remotely. Applicants will be selected based on their answers in the application form. Some might be called for a telephonic interview.
How can you apply?
Apart from certificates, trophies and work opportunities, the national winner will get a cash prize of Rs. 1L. The runner-up will get Rs. 75,000, the 2nd runner-up will get Rs. 50,000, and five regional winners will be awarded Rs. 10,000.
