J&K: Pak troops plead BSF on phone to stop firing
The BSF today said Pakistan Rangers "pleaded" with them to stop firing along the International Border after a Pakistani trooper died after being pounded with heavy artillery. "(Pakistan) Rangers called up Jammu BSF formation today and asked to stop firing," BSF spokesman said. BSF also released a 19-second thermal-imagery footage showing the destruction of a Pakistani picket across the border retaliating the unprovoked firing.
