Odisha: One coach of Falaknuma Express derails, no casualty reported
One coach of the Secunderabad-Howrah Falaknuma Express train today derailed near Kapilas Road railway station in Odisha's Cuttack district but there was no report of any casualty. Reportedly, the guard-cum-luggage bogie, the rearmost coach of the train jumped from the rail. An official said the derailed coach is being detached from the train and Falaknuma Express will start moving on its way soon.
Not much damage to the railway track, says official
There has been no much damage to the railway track and also no report of any casualty, an East Coast Railway official confirmed adding that train movement on the line hasn't been affected yet. The Additional DRM, Khurda Road, SP Dwivedi was on his way to the derailment site. Senior officers from Cuttack and sectional track supervisors have already reached the place, said officials.
