Goa Police launches probe after posters for 'nude party' emerge
Recently, two racy posters about a "nude party" in North Goa emerged on social media. Taking action, Goa Police has launched a probe on Monday. The police has said that they "will not allow such a party to happen in the state," and has reportedly activated its informant network to find out more details about this "private Goa party." Here are more details.
Posters advertise 'unlimited sex style and class,' 'skinny dipping'
According to IANS, the posters mention a "nude party" near Morjim beach with "15 to 20 Foreigner Girls and 10 plus Indians." The party posters also advertise "unlimited sex style and class with luxury and comfort" along with "skinny dipping," and unlimited food and liquor. However, except for a contact number, no detailed address or a date has been mentioned on the posters.
"No offense registered yet, have started a preliminary probe"
After the posters went viral, the CMO directed Crime Branch to launch a probe. A Crime Branch official said on the condition of anonymity, "No offense has been registered yet, but we've started a preliminary probe. There's no date advertised on the poster and only one contact number." The official added, "We're tracking the identity details of the person who owns the phone number."
Goa has been reduced to a sin-city, says Congress spokesperson
Meanwhile, Goa Mahila Congress chief Pratima Coutinho sought the intervention of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar to prevent such parties from happening. Congress spokesperson Trajano D'Mello said, "The Congress has been saying that Goa has been reduced to a sin-city due to casinos. Now with activities like those advertised in the posters, we appear to be in a living hell."
