JEE Main 2019 answer keys released: Here's how to check
Joint Entrance Examination Main 2019 for April concluded on Friday. And now, all eyes would be on the results of the tough exam. In the meantime, the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducted the JEE Main, has released the answer key. The aspiring students can check the answer key on JEE Main official website and can challenge it by April 16.
NTA has uploaded answer key for candidates to challenge
As per the notice, "The National Testing Agency has uploaded the answer key for candidates to challenge. The procedure (as enclosed) for challenge of answer key may be used. This facility is available from 14.04.2019 to 16.04.2019 (upto 11:50 PM)." "The candidates are required to pay online a sum of Rs. 1,000/- (one thousand only) as processing fee for each question challenged," it stated.
Here are the steps to check JEE Main answer key
To check the answer key released, follow the steps below: Visit the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nic.in Click on 'Display question papers and response' tab on the homepage. Log in using either application number and password or application number and date of birth. The answer key will appear on the screen and the candidate can take a print out for future reference.
Steps to follow to challenge the answer key
Log in into the JEE Main website using your registration credentials. Click on 'Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key'. The answer key will be displayed, where you can choose another correct answer. Save your claim. Option IDs you have challenged will be displayed on redirected page. You can upload evidence to support your answer and click 'Save your Claim Finally'. Lastly, make the payment (Rs. 1,000/question).
No challenges will be entertained without processing fee receipt
According to the notice, no challenge will be entertained by the NTA without the receipt of the processing fee. But, if the challenge is found correct, then the processing fee will be refunded. The candidates can make the payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking. The final answer key will be available after the NTA processes and verifies all the challenged answer keys.
JEE Advanced to be conducted on May 27 this year
All those who qualify JEE Main would then have to appear for JEE Advanced. About that, an announcement on the official JEE website reads, "The examination will be held in India and abroad, on May 27, 2019 (Monday)." For JEE Main in January, a total of 9,29,198 registered, and for the April session 9,35,741 appeared. This signifies many have appeared for the exam again.
