Noida: Two children killed, six trapped in school wall collapse
In a tragic incident, two school children were killed and three others injured after the wall of a school building collapsed on them. The incident took place in Noida's KM Public School, located in the Salarpur area. Reportedly, six children are said to be trapped underneath the debris, and rescue efforts are on to get them out. The tragic incident took place around 10am on Monday at the school, which falls under the Sector 49 police station limits. Following the incident, rescue teams were rushed to the spot, and those injured and rescued are now being treated at a hospital nearby. Notably, the cause of the wall collapse is yet to be ascertained.

Yogi Adityanath has ordered a probe into the incident
Following the collapse, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered a probe into the incident, and has also directed the Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate to oversee rescue and relief operations. He has also directed authorities provide the injured with all requisite medical aid. Meanwhile, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and the District Magistrate have met the aggrieved families of the children.
