Here's what we know about the incident.

    Deceased

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Radhika Kaushik

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Radhika Kaushik, who hailed from Rajasthan, and was working as a TV anchor for Zee Rajasthan.

According to police officers investigating Kaushik's death, her co-anchor Rahul Awasthi was also in her apartment when the alleged suicide took place.

Police revealed that both Awasthi and Kaushik had been drinking that night, and an argument had taken place between the two.

It's suspected that Kaushik took her own life after the argument.

Awasthi was taken into custody for questioning.

Awasthi claimed to be in the bathroom during the conversation, and came out after he heard 'someone falling'.

He then discovered Kaushik's body in the parking lot.

Meanwhile, police have confirmed that crucial information had been retrieved from Kaushik's phone.
