Gurugram: Nigerian national arrested with heroin worth Rs. 12 crore

Haryana Police arrested a Nigerian national yesterday in Gurugram with over three kg heroin valued Rs. 12 crore.
T Ahmed, a resident of Delhi, was arrested when he came to supply a large quantity of heroin to his contacts near the Sikanderpur metro station in Gurugram.
Cops said there is a possibility that the drugs were meant to be delivered to Christmas party organizers.

Accused used to supply drugs in Delhi-NCR
"We got a tip-off that Ahmed (accused) supplies drugs in Delhi-NCR. When he came on a two-wheeler, our teams intercepted him and arrested with heroin," Deputy inspector general of police (Special Task Force) Satheesh Balan said.
"There is a strong possibility that the drugs were meant to be supplied to the organizers of rave parties on Christmas and New Year," the officer further added.
