Four national-level players killed, one world champion injured in accident
What's the story
Four national-level powerlifters were killed and two others, including a world champion, were grievously injured in an accident on the Delhi-Panipat National Highway 1.
The mishap happened at 4am today, on their way from Delhi to Panipat.
Three of the deceased have been identified as Harish, Tinku and Suraj, while Saksham Yadav, who won gold in the 2017 Moscow powerlifting championship, is critical.

Details
What happened?
The players, who were in a Swift Dezire, were speeding in dense fog when it hit a divider near Alipur village, then rolled over several times and crashed into an electricity pole.
The car was brutally smashed. The roof was blown away by the impact.
Quoting a senior cop, NDTV said bottles were also found around, so drunk driving cannot be ruled out.

Identification of the fourth victim ongoing
Yadav and the other injured powerlifter were immediately shifted to Max Hospital in Shalimar Bagh. Police are trying to identify the fourth deceased.
