Mumbai: Stranger helps CAT aspirant, story will warm your heart
More often than not, small acts of generosity are enough to restore one's faith in humanity. One such heartwarming story was shared by 'Humans Of Bombay' page today. The protagonist narrated that eight years ago he came to Mumbai for his CAT examination. Back then, Ola/Uber barely existed, and taxi drivers refused to take him to Mumbai Central; but a stranger helped him. Here's his story.
"Just when I was having a breakdown, he helped me"
The fear of not reaching the exam centre troubled the aspirant and he started walking. A biker, whom he had asked for directions, got concerned with his state and the boy narrated his ordeal. "At the breakdown, I was having and said, 'beth ja bhai, mein tujhe drop kar deta hoon!' (Come on sit, I'll drop you)," the man remembered.
Happy ending: He reaches on time, clears exam
"He dropped me on time to my center, wished me luck and left! If you are reading this and it was you who dropped a panicky boy from Aurangabad to his exam...thank you, boss -- I passed that exam only because of you!" the post read.
