MP: Bus carrying 'baraatis' falls off bridge, 20 feared dead
What's the story
A bus carrying marriage party of around 45 people lost its balance and fell off the bridge breaking dividers, near Amelia village in Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday night.
Initial reports suggest 20 people may have lost their lives, and 20 others injured in the mishap.
The vehicle which started its journey from Singrauli district and was travelling to Sidhi, plunged into dry Son riverbed.

Details
How the mishap happened
The baraatis were slated to attend the wedding of one Mujababbli Khan.
According to police, the accident took place at around 9:30 PM. The driver lost his balance, the bus broke the railing and plunged 100 feet down into the riverbed.
Locals tried pulling up the vehicle and SP Manoj Shrivastava said rescue operations were being carried on.
