Muzaffarnagar: Men throw child out of moving car, gangrape mother
In yet another horrifying case of sexual assault, two men allegedly threw out the three-year-old child of a woman from a moving car on the Delhi-Dehradun highway in Muzaffarnagar, before gangraping her Monday evening. Luckily, the child survived. The men later dumped the 26-year-old woman on the highway in Chapar area. Police found her unconscious by the roadside.
The men had reached out to victim with 'job opportunity'
According to the woman, one of the two men, RK Mehata, had reached out to her regarding a job opportunity. He then called her over, then gave her an alcoholic drink laced with sedatives. His friend was also present. They then threw out her child and gangraped her before dumping her too. The child was found by locals, who rushed him to a hospital.
Nine-month-old flung to death when molesters attacked her mother
Unlike this victim, another Gurgaon woman lost her nine-month-old child last June, when three persons in an autorickshaw grabbed her. She was on her way to her mother's place after a fight with her husband, and took a lift in a shared autorickshaw. The men, who were already inside, started molesting her. When she resisted, they threw her infant out of the vehicle. The child died.
Shocking stats: More than five women raped daily in Delhi
According to Delhi Police data, more than five women have been raped in Delhi daily this year till April 15. In over 96% of the cases reported last year, the accused was known to the woman, police claimed.
