Mumbai: Model assaults guard, strips in front of police
What's the story
In a chaotic turn of events, a posh residential society in Lokhandwala, Andheri witnessed a bizarre incident on the night of October 25.
Megha Sharma, a model and content writer, stripped in front of policemen in a fit of rage, refusing to accompany them to the police station.
Ironically, she had called the police following an altercation with a guard.
Here's what went down.

What led to the altercation with the guard
Sharma, a Dehradun native who is a paying guest in the housing complex, was reportedly drinking on the night of the incident.

When he refused, she came downstairs from the 15th floor and started arguing with him.
Soon, she started using her fists more than words as the CCTV footage shows.

It's clear who's assaulting whom in this video @MumbaiPolice. Why have u taken action against guard instead? Is police here to protect all citizens or justice is reserved only for women? Please take action against Megha Sharma. She is abusing people and laws too. This is SICK! pic.twitter.com/C2SbLANMkX

A hysterical assailant called the police
In course of the altercation, Sharma hysterically called the police for assistance.
However, when they arrived and asked both Alok and her to accompany them to the station to officially lodge a complaint, she refused.
In fact, she grew agitated, daring them to forcefully take her.
Further, she broke down in tears and stripped in front of them, to avoid going to the station.
Information
The law is on her side
Despite the incriminating video, Sharma has the law on her side. A woman can refuse to go to police station between 6 pm and 6 am unless accompanied by a female police officer. This incident occurred within this window and no female police were present.

When she tried to lodge an FIR in the Oshiwara police station, she was refused.
Shailesh Pasalwar, the senior inspector replied saying that, "Women constables are sent only when needed".
