Rajasthani man missing for 5 years lodged in Pakistan jail
A 25-year-old prisoner in a Pakistan jail turned out to be a man from Rajasthan's Bundi district who has been missing for five years. According to an official, authorities are not clear how Jugraj Bheel, from Rampuria village, strayed into Pakistani territory. "The youth is in a Pakistani jail. We have found his family members in Rampuria village," the official added. Here's more.
Jugraj was mentally disturbed
"We received an inquiry to verify Jugraj Bheel's nationality," Bundi District Superintendent of Police Yogesh Yadav said. Police said the villager's father Bhairon Bheel has confirmed his identity. His family members said Jugraj was mentally disturbed but they don't know how he strayed into Pakistan, Yadav said. Yadav said he received a report from the state police headquarters last month seeking information about Jugraj.
Man missing for 36 years also found in Pak jail
A fortnight ago, an inquiry revealed that 68-year-old Gajanand Sharma, who had gone missing 36 years ago from Jaipur's Brahampuri area was lodged in a Pakistan jail.
