Society security guard accused of raping minor, 3 booked
Thane Police has registered offenses against three persons, including the security guard of a housing society, for allegedly abducting and raping a 15-year-old girl on the night of May 15. The accused are charged under IPC sections pertaining to rape, kidnapping, and criminal intimidation and relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Victim was abducted and raped at an isolated place
On the night of May 15, after getting a medicine for her stomach ache, the victim was returning to her house in Dombivili when the three accused abducted her. They then took her to an isolated place behind a slum area in Dombivali where the 25-year-old security guard allegedly raped her while the other two threatened her with dire consequences.
Accused earlier worked in the locality, was known to victim
The accused abandoned the girl there, who managed to reach her home yesterday morning. The victim along with her parents lodged a complaint at the Tilak Nagar police station. According to the complaint, the security guard had earlier worked in the locality and was known to the victim. No arrest was made so far, the police said, adding an investigation was going on.
