Delhi Metro, IndusInd Bank introduced dual-purpose 'Metro Plus' card

What's the story

Delhi Metro, in association with IndusInd Bank, today launched a dual purpose 'Metro Plus' debit card that will enable the IndusInd Bank debit card users to use it as a Delhi Metro Smart Card in addition to a regular debit card. This initiative is in-line with DMRC's commitment towards supporting the digital drive to promote cashless transactions in Metro.

Recharge

Customers can recharge the card through IndusInd ATMs, app, net-banking

The card was jointly launched by Delhi Metro's Managing Director Mangu Singh and IndusInd Bank Executive Vice President Ritesh Raj Saxena. Developed by IndusInd bank, the card has a Delhi Metro Transit chip embedded within, along with the secured Debit Card Chip. Customers can choose from the multiple modes to recharge their cards via IndusInd Bank ATMs, IndusMobile app, net banking and other methods.
