Rashtrapati Bhavan, India's President's official residence, will host its first-ever wedding ceremony on February 12.
The bride-to-be is Poonam Gupta, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Assistant Commandant, who is currently posted as a Personal Security Officer at the presidential estate.
Her groom is fellow CRPF officer Avneesh Kumar, who is posted in Jammu & Kashmir.
President Droupadi Murmu approved the historic event, which will be attended only by close family members under strict security measures.

Gupta, a Shivpuri native of Madhya Pradesh, boasts of an impressive academic and professional background.
She has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, a BEd, and a master's degree in English Literature from Jiwaji University, Gwalior.
She had also secured the 81st rank in the UPSC CAPF examination in 2018.
Prior to her current posting at Rashtrapati Bhavan, she served in Naxal-affected areas of Bihar.
