Mumbai MBA couple runs food-stall outside Kandivali station: Here's why
A husband-wife duo, both MBA graduates, runs a breakfast food stall outside the Kandivali station in Mumbai. Each morning, the couple sets up the stall at 4 am before shutting shop at 10 am and heading off to work at private Mumbai-based firms. The story of the couple may sound odd at first, but the reason behind their shop is absolutely touching.

The couple was spotted by one Deepali Bhatia on Wednesday when she was on the hunt for some good food. She spotted a small stall selling poha, upma, parathas, and idli. She assumed the sellers were Gujarati and hit up a conversation. That's when she found out that the couple, Ashwini Shenoy Shah and Ankush Shah, were MBA graduates.
Couple ran food stall to assist domestic help
When Bhatia asked the couple why they ran a food stall, she was taken aback. The couple was only selling the food cooked by their 55-year-old domestic help since her husband had been paralyzed, Bhatia noted in a since-viral Facebook post following her encounter.
One of the most inspiring acts of kindness: Bhatia
Calling their story "one of the most inspiring acts of kindness" she had witnessed, Bhatia wrote, "In the rushing world of Mumbai, where we rarely have time to stop and think, here are two superheroes who think more for someone (other) than themselves." She added, "[They] were working to support their cook so at this age she doesn't have to run for financial aid."

She added, "Going ahead we would love to create a team of such ladies and set up a small griha udyog and cater to larger and diverse audiences."
