In a shocking incident in Telangana, a man allegedly killed his wife after she refused to cook mutton curry.
The tragedy unfolded on Tuesday night in Manjathanda, at Upparigudem village of Seerole Mandal in Mahbubabad district.
The victim has been identified as Maloth Kalavati (35), who was allegedly beaten to death by her husband M Balu, an agricultural laborer.

Dispute over cooking mutton curry sparks deadly argument
According to reports, Balu had purchased mutton on Tuesday night and asked Kalavati to prepare it.
When she refused his request and said she would cook the dish the next morning, a heated argument ensued between the couple.
In the heat of the moment, an enraged Balu allegedly struck Kalavati with a wooden stick, leaving her severely injured.
She later succumbed to her injuries.
Ongoing probe
Police investigation underway following domestic dispute
Seerole Sub-Inspector (SI) Ch Nagesh confirmed the incident, saying they received information about a domestic disturbance and sent officers to the scene.
However, they found Kalavati's lifeless body when they reached there. The suspect was reportedly missing at that time.
Nagesh further revealed that Kalavati's body has been sent for postmortem to Mahabubabad Government Hospital and an investigation is underway.
