In Andhra Pradesh, man died while watching 'Avengers: Infinity War'
The climax of 'Avengers: Infinity War' jolted Marvel fans across the globe, but the cinematic experience turned fatal for a mason worker in Proddatur town in Andhra Pradesh's Kadapa district. Peddapasupula Baasha, 43, died after watching the movie on Tuesday. A construction worker at the nearby site, Baasha went to see the movie as a part of May Day celebrations.
Theatre staff thought man was waiting for post-credit scene
After the movie got over, Baasha didn't leave his seat. The theatre staff assumed he was waiting for the post-credit scene (a norm in every Marvel movie). Later, when they removed 3D glasses from Baasha, they found him dead with his eyes open. Cops registered a case under Section 174 of CrPC (suspicious death). They suspect he might have suffered a cardiac arrest.
'Avengers: Infinity War' smashes box office records globally
The amalgamation of Marvel's superheroes in a movie and the build-up to the climax which took ten years struck gold at Box Office across the globe. Within nine days of its release, the tentpole earned $900 million globally and is eyeing $1 billion. Directed by Russo Brothers, the movie has earned more than 2015 release 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' on the release day.
