Maharashtra entrepreneur earns Rs. 12L/month just by selling tea
Who would have thought that selling tea can be lucrative business? Now an entrepreneur in Maharashtra has proved people wrong. Navnath Yewle, co-founder of the famous Yewle Tea House in Pune, earned Rs. 12L in a month, just by selling tea. Taking a dig at PM Narendra Modi's 'pakoda' remark, he said, "Unlike 'pakora' business, this tea selling business is also creating employment."

Yewle Tea House, one of Pune's most popular stalls, has three centers in the city. About 12 employees work in each center. Navnath says he plans to make it an international brand very soon. "This business is growing fast and I'm happy," he told ANI.

Incidentally, over a month ago, PM Modi had garnered much flak after he talked about employment in an interview. "If someone opens a 'pakoda' shop in front of your office, does that not count as employment? The person's daily earning of Rs. 200 will never come into any books or accounts. The truth is massive people are being employed," he had said.
