Shah offered prayers at the temple of Mata Ragnya Devi and performed puja. Taking to Twitter, Shah said he had the honor of visiting the major center of faith of the Kashmiri Pandit community which inspires the nation. "This holy place has divine power that can be felt only by visiting it," Shah wrote in Kashmiri language using Devanagari script.
Amit Shah apparently had his bulletproof glass shield removed from the podium before addressing the gathering at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC). On Sunday he visited forward areas at the Makwal border in Jammu and Kashmir with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

Amit Shah is attending a security review meeting at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar. Earlier, he visited the residence of late Parvez Ahmad Dar, Inspector of CID, who was killed by militants in June. Shah met his family and condoled his death.
Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Srinagar today for a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. He was received by J&K Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Jitendra Singh at the airport. Security arrangements have been heightened following a spate of targeted civilian killings.
In wake of the recent killings of minorities, the J&K administration has decided to monitor areas where they live with drones. The union territory has witnessed horrific targeted killings in recent days. The local police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have jointly placed drone surveillance for these areas.
