India to limit visas for Pakistanis
Expressing dissent over Pakistan's decision to award the death-sentence to Kulbhushan Jadhav, India is considering limiting visas for Pakistani citizens to medical visas only. This means that Pakistanis visiting India for leisure, tourism, cultural exchanges, business and religious reasons may not be allowed to do so. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said India would go to any extent to get justice for Jadhav.
Kulbhushan Jadhav sentenced to death
Kulbhushan Jadhav a retired lieutenant of the Indian Navy, was arrested from the Iran-Pakistan border in March 2016. Accused of being an intelligence agent, Jadhav was sentenced to death by a military court, for "waging war against Pakistan."
Pakistan arrests more R&AW suspects
Meanwhile, police in PoK have arrested three individuals who are suspected to be R&AW agents. Pakistani officials claimed in a press conference that three were involved in a recent bomb blast at a police station in in Abbaspur. Sajid Imran, Deputy Superintendent of Police in Poonch, said the suspects came in contact with R&AW officials in November last year.
