Captured LeT terrorist thanks Indian army for saving his life
In a now viral video, a captured Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Aijaz Gujri thanked the Indian Army for saving his life, and appealed fellow terrorists to give up arms. The terrorist said he hid in bushes, and the army could've killed him, but chose to save his life instead. He also blamed Pakistan for spreading lies about Indian Army. Gujri, was arrested by Baramulla police recently.

"I hid myself in bushes where I was arrested, where Army could have killed me but they saved my life," said Gujri. He revealed they fired at the army camp first, but the officers didn't return the fire.

The terrorist said Pakistan asked him to create violence in the valley. "We were told that Army is doing brutalities while it's not true. It's a conspiracy which was hatched in Pakistan," he said. The police has recently arrested four terrorists responsible for the deaths of three Baramulla young boys- Asif Ahmad Sheikh, Haseeb Ahmad Khan, and Mohmmad Asgar. Their bullet-ridden bodies were recovered on April 30.
Pakistan gave instruction to terrorists, says police spokesperson
"Interrogation of these terrorists revealed that LeT handlers in Pakistan had given clear instructions to them to create an atmosphere of terror in North Kashmir by eliminating many civilians who are perceived to be friendly with the government or security forces," an official said earlier.
Gujri appeals fellow terrorists to give up arms
Gujri asked those who 'went on the wrong roads' to give up arms and get back to their homes. Addressing another terrorist Nasir Amin, Gujri said, "I am asking Nasir Amin that his mother is very ill and he should come back." Along with Gujri, Suhaib Farooq Akhoon, Mohsin Mushtaq Bhat, and Bilal Ahmad Najar were arrested by the police.
