Goa: Full state honors with 21-gun salute for Manohar Parrikar

Late Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar's last rites have been performed at Miramar beach on Monday.
The former Defense Minister was cremated with full state honors and was also accorded a 21-gun salute.
Thousands of people joined to pay their final respects to Manohar Parrikar who died on Sunday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 63.

Parrikar's body taken from Kala Academy to Miramar beach
The mortal remains of the four-time Goa CM Manohar Parrikar were kept at the BJP head office in Panaji and then at Kala Academy until 4 pm. The senior BJP leader's body was later taken to Goa's Miramar beach for the last rites.
